MMM - Dex

Restraint seems to be the choice modus operandi for so many house and techno artists nowadays, so it’s always refreshing to hear what Wiegand and Fielder come up with. Their various projects as Errorsmith/Soundhack and MMM always fizzle with consumate dancefloor energy, but more importantly the tracks themselves are produced extremely well. If you listen to the link above, it won’t really begin to articulate at all the various frequencies at all ends of the spectrum that emanate at much higher volume. Both tracks on this 5th MMM release err towards the UK Funky/Soca end than the disco-laced anthems they started with. The flip “Rio” is the more tuneful” of the two, but after several listens I found myself returning to the monster rave feedback of the main track. Chuck away your snooty house/techno sensibilities and get involved.
