Records of the Week - July 22nd
It’s been overdue for some time now, but the Hasbeen’s “I Fall to Pieces” is finally out on Frustrated Funk, although you should act fast to get it as only 350 copies were pressed. Alden Tyrell and DJ Overdose are ushering in a new form of melancholy “Brutalo”, and this 85 bpm heartfelt vocoder-laced sojourn is a true tear-jerker. It’s record of the week, but faced some stiff opposition this week for the title.
