Records of the Week - May 7th

Record of the week comes from Glasgow label Numbercult with their first release being two forceful cuts of techno that recall quality mid-90’s UK techno at its height. Numbercult joins Seldom Felt, Frozen Border et al as another faceless label releasing strong records, and long may it continue. Elsewhere there’s a couple of stunning new records on Mathematics, the new Legowelt on Creme, the return of Luke Slater on form on Ostgut with a new album in the offing too, and excellent releases from Tin Man, STL and Reade Truth on Planet E, who seem to have made a return to releasing decent records.
