Ali Wade aka Uberdog is a seminal figure in the birth of Bleep43. Many years ago, long before message boards became cauldrons of community, he set up the a monthly magazine called Overload. It was a wonderful little booklet usually distributed in independent record shops that filled a precious gap after the demise of Jockey Slut. When most of the printed media veered towards commercial dance music, here was a superb, rich nugget of reviews and some stunning interviews with some of the techno artists of the day. Overload’s eventual internet forum was instrumental in Bleep43 running their first parties. Whilst Overload is no longer with us, Ali now helps put together Spannered.
