Podcast 162 - Sowiesoso

This week’s podcast has a new feature, where I concentrate on obscure albums from the past. To start, I play 3 songs from Cluster’s wonderful “Sowiesoso”, which was released in 1976. Those familiar with the music of Moebius and Roedelius will know that this stands as one of their best, recorded at a time when the influence of Brian Eno was at its height. He would later record several beautiful albums with them, but this particular record contains at least a seed of his ideas, whilst also demonstrating the innate beauty at the heart of all Cluster’s material.
I’ve also included some new releases from the likes of 10-20, Autechre, Toro Y Moi, Wolfgang Voigt and Nedry. There’s also a competition to win 2 tickets to our party on April 16th. Enjoy!
