    Podcast 127 - Claudio Simonetti

    PODCAST 127 - CLAUDIO SIMONETTI

This week’s show is dedicated to the work of Italian composer Claudio Simonetti, whose work with the seminal Prog rock band Goblin was a key component in the birth of Italodisco. As well as providing scores for horror director Dario Argento, Simonetti was also involved in several high profile Electronic Disco projects from the late 70’s to the mid-80’s such as Capricorn, Kasso and Crazy Gang. This show, which was lovingly compiled by Magic Waves’ James Penrose aka DJ Casionova , covers his own work, as well as projects that he was behind or played on, such as Vivien Vee and David Zed.
