This Serbian label serves up, courtesy of Maya Medvesek, a compelling 5 track EP of quality techno/dubstep. The title track is by far the superior track, mixing in a bass line that dances beautifully throughout to a nagging synth line. Of the others, “Bit Pony” relies a little on the sheer power of the low end, but it’s complemented by some psychedelic sounding effects to keep it interesting. “Night bird” is much more subtle, mixing arpeggiated synth washes in with piano. I’m not a huge fan of the genre, but this is a superior production from an artist to watch out for.
